A nice day for Football but difficult times for the supporters..

Firstly, a big thanks to Alison for being the ref in extremely harsh conditions. Secondly, A big thank you to the parents for helping us set up and de-rig today, Im sure they just wanted a hot cuppa or a pint.

Im proud of the players today.. we played the league leaders and lets face it, they are way more advanced than we are. That being said, our players showed heart and we should have had more goals. The conditions didnt help our keepers but Im proud of them, both came of the pitch covered in mud and soaked through.

Special mention to Lucas, our captain played his best game to date. Strong as an ox and didnt miss any challenges.. keep it up Lucas and enjoy your 'Player of the Match' award.

Id like to give Dexter a shout for a lovely goal, he knows he could have had more but a great start to being a Wolf. Im extremely proud of Charlie who has 3 in 3 and is plugging away, he also knows he could have had more. With Charlie, Oz and Dexter, we have some good options going forward

This is the squad that will grow further and we have a good team spirit. We have one more addition to announce very soon and then we are closed. Ill happily take this squad into the new league at Christmas and beyond.
