Moulsecoomb Wolves vs Clinical Training
A match of frustration and a lack of shape.
We arrived on a cold October morning just as the owls were going to bed. We arrived with high expectations but were soon brought down to earth!
I wont go into too much detail, the early exchanges saw few (Goalkeepers), come out of it with any satisfaction. The pitch was poor and the surface was wet, this played into the hands of our opponents as they knew where the man made bunkers were.
We had plenty of chances but were foiled by a 13 year old in goal. Im not saying he was big but he was bigger than some of the dads. That being said, it could have been a lot closer if we had scored our many many chances.
The main culprit today was the ill discipline with our shape, ricochet football was the order of the day! We know we are a better team than this, on another day we could wallop these. Anyway, positive debut for Ehsan and im pleased he got his goal. Another goal for Charlie to make it 2 in 2.. he spent then next few hours telling me there is someone smaller than him in the league.
