Often a game can run and run without a breakthrough, often a game can go the other way after controlling the game.. Today, was not that day. We dug deep and continued to be strong. We were rewarded because we played for each other.
The first goal came for todays POM Jude, a jinking run and then a good low and hard shot, The lead was short lived as they got one back. The second came from one of our new lads, Dexter. A great follow up on a shot and then a nice finish. At 2-1 it always felt like we needed the third..Up steps our Pit Bull Charlie.. after what seemed like so many rebounds, he slotted a low hard left footed drive into the bottom corner.
