Well what can I say.. welcome to grass roots football. We are now about to embark on a tougher experience. Today will build character and no doubt strength!
It was a game of chess but someone had to lose concentration and unfortunately that was us. Do not think I am not proud of the boys. In spells, this was very good. The pitch will get better and we will then be able to play our passing and finishing football.
Congratulations to Deegan, I thought he showed great confidence and strength. Keep it up mate.
At the back we were strong with Lucas and Elijah. Midfield had to battle and I thought they all played well. My two strikers were strong and deserved more. We could and should have had a few more goals.
